Availability & Inquiries

Artwork availability may change as works are acquired by private collectors, institutions, or galleries.

An artwork marked as available on the website may become unavailable due to a completed acquisition or other circumstances. Collectors interested in an available work are therefore encouraged to inquire before making arrangements for acquisition.

Please mention the artwork title when contacting the artist’s representative so that the correct work can be identified quickly.

Shipping & Packaging

Shipping and packaging costs are charged separately to the collector.

The final cost is determined according to the artwork’s dimensions, destination, packaging requirements, weight, and selected shipping service.

Artworks are carefully prepared and appropriately protected for transportation. Larger or high-value artworks may require specialized packaging or a custom wooden crate.

International shipping arrangements are confirmed individually according to the artwork and destination.

Choose How You Would Like to Receive the Artwork

Collectors may choose the shipping presentation that best suits their preferences and budget, subject to the artwork, destination, carrier requirements, and final packed dimensions.

Option 1 — Stretched & Framed

The artwork remains stretched on its stretcher and, where applicable, remains in its existing frame during transportation.

This is the preferred option for collectors who want to receive the artwork in its finished presentation without dismantling.

Benefits:

  • The artwork arrives stretched and ready for presentation.
  • No professional re-stretching is required after arrival.
  • If the artwork is already framed, no additional framing charge is applied.
  • Reduces the need for dismantling, re-stretching, and reframing.
  • Provides the most convenient option for the collector.

Because the final packed dimensions can be considerably larger, this option may involve higher international shipping and packaging costs.

Option 2 — Stretched & Unframed

The artwork remains stretched on its stretcher but is shipped without its existing frame, where applicable.

This can be suitable for collectors who want to avoid re-stretching but prefer to arrange framing locally.

The collector will be responsible for any framing arranged after arrival.

Option 3 — Destretched & Rolled

The artwork is carefully removed from its stretcher and professionally prepared for rolled transportation.

This option can significantly reduce the packed dimensions and may provide a more economical international shipping solution.

After arrival, the collector will be responsible for arranging professional re-stretching and framing where required.

For valuable or larger artworks, the suitability of rolled transportation will be considered according to the artwork’s medium, condition, surface characteristics, and professional packing requirements.

Which Shipping Option Should I Choose?

For collectors who prioritize convenience and want to receive the artwork in its finished presentation, Stretched & Framed is generally the preferred option where practical.

For collectors who want to keep the artwork stretched but prefer to arrange their own frame, Stretched & Unframed may be appropriate.

For collectors who want to reduce international shipping volume and cost and are comfortable arranging professional re-stretching and framing locally, Destretched & Rolled may be the most economical option.

The final shipping configuration must be confirmed before dispatch because carrier size, weight, packaging, and handling requirements vary by destination.

Framing

Where an artwork is already framed, no additional framing charge will be applied to the collector when the existing frame is retained.

If the collector chooses to have an already framed artwork shipped without its frame, any subsequent framing arranged after arrival will be the collector’s responsibility.

For artworks that are not framed, framing options may be discussed separately where applicable.

Transit Insurance & Protection

Collectors may choose whether to add transit insurance or additional carrier protection to their shipment.

For valuable original artworks, insured or protected shipping is strongly recommended.

The cost of transit insurance or additional carrier protection is charged separately to the collector.

If additional protection is selected, any eligible claim arising from loss or damage during transit is handled by the carrier according to the declared value, coverage, protection plan, and applicable terms selected for the shipment.

If the collector chooses to ship without additional transit protection, the artist and the artist’s representative will not be responsible for loss or damage occurring during transit.

The artist and the artist’s representative are not responsible for the carrier’s claim decision or settlement. Where appropriate, relevant artwork and shipment information may be provided to assist with the carrier’s claim process.

Why Insured Shipping Is Recommended

For high-value original artworks, insured or protected shipping can provide greater financial security during transportation.

The additional cost may be particularly worthwhile for valuable one-of-a-kind artworks where the financial consequences of loss or damage could be substantial.

Collectors may select their preferred carrier protection or insurance option when the shipping quotation is prepared.

Payment & Acquisition

Once an artwork’s availability and acquisition details have been confirmed, payment and delivery arrangements will be discussed directly with the collector.

The artwork price, shipping and packaging costs, selected presentation option, optional transit insurance or carrier protection, and any other applicable charges will be confirmed before the transaction is completed.

International Collectors

Collectors outside Pakistan are welcome to inquire about available works.

International shipping can be arranged according to the artwork, destination, dimensions, packaging requirements, and selected carrier service.

For larger artworks, specialized air-freight or other appropriate shipping arrangements may be required.

Because international shipping requirements vary according to destination and artwork size, the final shipping method and costs are confirmed individually before dispatch.

Customs, Duties & Destination Charges

International shipments may be subject to customs procedures, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other destination-country charges.

Any customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other destination-country charges, where applicable, are the responsibility of the collector unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The collector may be contacted by the carrier or customs authorities when additional information or documentation is required for clearance.

Exchange Policy

All artwork sales are final and are not eligible for return.

However, an artwork may be exchanged one time only, within 15 days of the artwork’s arrival, for another available artwork within the same price range.

The replacement artwork must be available and within the same price range. Once an exchange has been completed, the replacement artwork is not eligible for another exchange under this policy.

Exchange Shipping & Packaging

All costs associated with return packaging, return shipment, new packaging, and shipment of the replacement artwork are the responsibility of the collector.

Any transit insurance or additional carrier protection selected for the return or replacement shipment is also the responsibility of the collector.

Exchange requests must be made within 15 days of the artwork’s arrival by contacting the artist’s representative and providing the relevant artwork and purchase details.

Caring for an Artwork

Original paintings and drawings should be handled and displayed with appropriate care.

Collectors should avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, excessive humidity, extreme temperature changes, moisture, and dusty or unstable environments.

Artwork should be installed in a suitable environment appropriate to its medium and materials.

For specific conservation, installation, or care questions, collectors are encouraged to seek professional advice appropriate to the artwork’s medium and condition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I choose how my artwork is shipped?

Yes. Where practical, collectors can choose between Stretched & Framed, Stretched & Unframed, or Destretched & Rolled shipping.

The final option must be confirmed according to the artwork, destination, carrier requirements, and packaging limitations.

Which option is recommended?

For collectors who prioritize convenience and want the artwork in its finished presentation, Stretched & Framed is generally preferred where practical.

Although the initial shipping cost may be higher because of the larger packed dimensions, it can also be more cost-effective overall. By receiving the artwork stretched and framed, the collector can avoid the additional costs of having the canvas professionally re-stretched, purchasing or arranging a new stretcher, and paying for framing, assembly, and related labor after arrival.

If an already framed artwork is shipped in its finished presentation, the collector receives the work ready to be hung and displayed upon arrival, subject to any installation requirements.

With the destretched option, the lower shipping cost may be offset by the subsequent expenses of purchasing or arranging a suitable stretcher, professional re-stretching, framing, assembly, and labor. For this reason, collectors should consider the total cost and convenience, rather than comparing shipping costs alone.

The final choice remains entirely with the collector, and both shipping options can be discussed before dispatch.

Is stretched shipping more expensive?

The initial shipping cost for a Stretched & Framed artwork can be higher because the finished artwork occupies substantially more space than a destretched and rolled canvas. International carriers may also calculate shipping charges according to dimensional weight, packed dimensions, weight, destination, and selected shipping service.

However, the higher shipping cost does not necessarily mean that stretched shipping is more expensive overall.

When the artwork is shipped destretched and rolled, the collector may need to arrange and pay for a suitable stretcher, professional re-stretching, framing, assembly, and related labor after arrival. These additional costs can reduce or even offset the initial saving on international shipping.

For this reason, from the artist’s perspective, Stretched & Framed is generally the more beneficial and convenient option where practical. It minimizes additional handling and allows the collector to receive an artwork that is already professionally stretched and framed, ready to be hung and displayed.

Ultimately, the best option depends on the artwork, destination, and the collector’s preferences. The final shipping cost for each option will be confirmed according to the packed dimensions, weight, destination, and selected shipping service before dispatch.

Can an artwork that is already framed remain framed?

Yes, where the carrier accepts the final dimensions and packaging configuration.

If I choose destretched shipping, who pays for re-stretching?

The collector is responsible for arranging and paying for professional re-stretching and framing after arrival.

Can I insure my artwork during shipping?

Yes. Transit insurance or additional carrier protection can be arranged upon the collector’s request and is charged separately.

Is insurance mandatory?

No. Insurance or additional carrier protection is optional. However, it is strongly recommended for valuable original artworks.

Who pays for shipping and packaging?

Shipping and packaging costs are charged separately to the collector and are confirmed before dispatch.

Can I return an artwork?

No. Artwork purchases are not eligible for return.

Can I exchange an artwork?

Yes. An artwork may be exchanged one time only, within 15 days of its arrival, for another available artwork within the same price range.

Who pays for shipping during an exchange?

The collector is responsible for all return and replacement packaging and shipping costs, including any optional transit insurance or additional carrier protection.

Can I exchange an artwork after 15 days?

No. The exchange policy applies only within 15 days of the artwork’s arrival.

Are customs duties and taxes included?

Customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and other destination-country charges, where applicable, are the responsibility of the collector unless otherwise agreed in writing.

How do I inquire about an artwork?
